Tamlin has been an art teacher for over 40 years, she taught for 20 years in public and private school systems, inter city programs and experimental learn through discovery program, The next 20 years of experience was spent with
at-risk individuals teaching youths with addictions, young ladies with eating disorders, veterans and brain injured patients. Tamlin's exposure to teaching in both schools and rehab centers has laid the ground work for this at-risk curriculum.
Robin Fall who is our Head Developer of facilitators in the Art With A Purpose Program is a trusted and experienced member of our team.
Robin’s mission to nurture the creativity of at-risk youth and adults through a program focused on artistic self-expression. This practice of self-expression encourages youth and adults who are considered at-risk (who suffer from abuse and/or neglect) to have the opportunity for create artistic expression when word cannot be found.

Susan Bliss Pearce, BEd., MA, CSW.
Pearce worked in public school settings for 25 years as an educator and guidance counselor. For the last 15 of those years, she worked as a Designer, Consultant, and Administrator of Student Assistance Programs (SAPs). SAP’s focus on substance abuse prevention and counseling by providing ongoing education and individual and group counseling for students, parents, and school personnel. Pearce created award-winning programs in Southfield, Brighton and Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She served on the SAP Boards for the state of Michigan and the National Association of Leaders in Student Assistance Programs (NALSAP).
John Manelos retired from BP after 28 years as a corporate security professional, most recently serving as Vice President of Security & Crisis Management. He earned a Master of Science degree in Conflict Management and is a Registered Neutral (Mediator) in Alabama.
A passionate advocate of conflict resolution and restorative justice principles, John has volunteered in community-based programs throughout most of his lifetime.
John served as chairperson for one of Cobb County, Georgia’s (Metro Atlanta) Juvenile Courts, Citizen Review Panels, which assisted the court in oversight of juveniles placed in foster care within its jurisdiction. This involved reviewing whether the required care and instructions of the court were being adhered to by those entrusted with foster child’s care. Also, made recommendation to juvenile court judges on removal of child from home and whether termination of parental rights was appropriate in child deprivation cases.
In collaboration with Ansley Barton Esq., former Director, Conflict Management Program, Kennesaw State University and former Director of the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution, initiated a restorative justice program, Peacemaking Circles, which was ultimately adopted by the Clayton County, GA, Juvenile Courts as a diversionary program for juvenile offenders
John volunteered as a facilitator in a restorative justice-based program, Bridges to Life, aimed at offenders within the Texas Department of Corrections. The mission of Bridges to Life is to connect communities to prisons to reduce recidivism rates, reduce the number of crime victims, and enhance public safety.
Most recently, John volunteered in Alabama’s Thirteenth Judicial District Court (State Civil District Court) in Mobile, Al. as a mediator and co-mediator in a range of civil disputes filed with the courts. He is a co-founder of Clean Water Alabama, a non-profit with the mission of protecting Alabama waterways. John has a professional and personal reputation for respectful leadership and bringing people together.
